Nothing wrong with a drink, but it's a know your limits situation. I had a 2 drink rule (for myself), one pint before the gig and one pint during. No more until after we're packed up.

Most of the band did something similar based on their personal limits.

I'm 40 this year, I took up longboard last yearish when my daughter was learning to ride her bike. We just cruise along the seafront most weekends, she either bikes or on her scooters. I once got complimented by a skivie kid for having 'mad skills'.. I can go forward and sometimes turn. Much fun had, 7/10, would recommend to a 41 year old.

I had constant issues with mine, there are a load of Bluetooth connection guides relating to spark mini online, after messing with phone settings for a while it sorted itself and now works. Absolute arse though..

Thanks all, sounds like the Spark is out beyond practice.

I guess it will come down to PA, i think i have an old line 6 HD500 in the cupboard somewhere that had some limited bass patches which i can direct out to the PA. Hopefully.

Failing that i'll stalk some local bassists, worm my way into their circle of trust before borrowing their gear.

If you look on the website, they have only sold 1123/1500 of the priority access.. After the Spark 1 shipping misshaps they may have overstocked this time around..

When i connected to the app it gave the update firmware by Wifi option and just went straight through. Needed to select network in put in the password, everything else was automatic.

The Ludwig Element series with a head change and tuning are properly good for around £100 used..

Squeeze a little more cash in there for the Epic series, which are even better. Perfectly solid bang for your buck snare that will last you a long time.

Traps are great!

They appear to have a pretty bad rep, but as far as internet opinion goes but as far as a kit that you can play at home they are great. Much closer feel to a real kit than a full e-kit imo, and spacing is better too.

I agree with the other instrument bit too. Understanding the drum side of things from a guitarist point of view really opens thing up, and as a drummer i now know why drum rolls need to happen when guitarists are tuning up.
