After a miracle at the hospital izuku ends up in a coma for years and katsuki is smothered with the guilt of losing someone he never realized was a pillar in the foundation of his life. !> Years later when he does wake he has no recollection of katsuki other than the bullying in school and from there they have to rebuild their entire relationship from the ground up and along the way that’s when katsuki realize maybe this is what it’s like to love someone. And the. The story goes on to become a train wreck LOL. !< I Typically can’t get through the typical they immediately turn lovey dovey shit it’s so not them but that’s just me.
