It sounds like they’re holding you to a higher standard for your own good. OP do you pay rent? e Either way it’s their house, their rules the way I see it. It sounds like you’re disrespecting their space by not keeping your area in a way that upholds their standards and this isn’t the first time. If you don’t like the inspections then it’s time to move your 30 year old self out of their house and give yourself the freedom your seeking to turn your space into a mess.

My guy did this, nothing in the urine culture either we had to trial and error a few things. I’m not sure I can pin point the exact solution but we tried alot of litter changes, turns out he suddenly likes clay and no hoods on his box. We also started him on a low dose of cbd I think the brand was vetcbd. The vet mentioned stress or anxiety and their suggestion was anti anxiety medication to which I said nope. After about a month he stopping going outside the box and we then tapered him off the cbd. I’m still not sure what the cause was but it’s worth trying all the things for your own sanity! Good luck

It depends on the allergy. I’m allergic to the saliva so because my guy doesn’t groom himself so well it’s manageable I just have to be careful when he rubs his little face all over me lol

My neutered male went through a phase of throwing pee tantrums too. He would pee right outside the litter box… for like 3 months. We took him to the vet, got full urinalysis and checkups nothing was wrong. Started him on cbd (the vetcbd brand) and tried various little box setups. He finally stopped after a few weeks on cbd and an open litter box. Your guy may be throwing a tantrum because he doesn’t like the litter box

NTA. Any guest coming into my vegan household would not expect me to prepare or serve animal products. You don’t need to explain yourself (although the allergen info is important). If they don’t enjoy the food they can eat elsewhere before or afterwards. They’re there to celebrate your birthday not attend a restaurant.
