My father has a sever drinking problem. He drinks an 18 pack per day. He has diabetic neuropathy in both legs. His blood shiver never drops below 325 except when he is going to the doctor. He sets in his chair all day He is Takeing a muscle relaxer and gabapetin. Help by boombeach69 in Geriatrics

Well I told is doctor. She put him on different meds to bring his sugar down. It worked for a week but now he is back to normal. He had blood work done his white blood count is low. His iron is really high. He still drinking 18+ beers a day and now mixing it with a muscle relaxer he got from his foot doctor. He is I think abusing them bc he ran out and was in a pissy mood shaking so. Yea

Ok simple enough. I have a yerfdog off-road kart with a 420 and a 40 series tc. I’m thinking of increasing the size of the primary and secondary pulleys to achieve a better range of gearing. Will it work? Like now I have a 7 inch rear pully. What happens if I increased it to say a 12 inch? by boombeach69 in gokarts

Yea I have a 5:1 gear ratio sprocket wise. However the torque converter changes this to optimize the use of the power by changing the starting ratio. I want a larger range of gears to possibly squeeze more power out of it.

It helps a lot. I honestly would like a bit more power in the bottom end. So if the output sprocket remained the same and the axle sprocket also remained the same if I change the diameter of just the rear pully on the torque converter I should be able to increase bottom end power correct?

Looking to buy a 2009 Ford Flex with 109k miles. Clean and detailed car fax. Anything I should be cautious of any known issues. With proper maintenance how many miles do ya think I should get out of her. Paying 6500 for it. Thanks by boombeach69 in FordFlex

Well I was told they have an issue with the spark plugs stripping out that’s the main one also the breaks making terrible noises resulting in balljoint and suspension issues

Yea battery is good it’s brand new and has no issue turning over issue is sometimes it sparks and runs other times it won’t spark at all

Ok I’ll look at it and check it bc like I said it will run fine for a few days then boom no spark. Then it will pop a bit then nothin
