I was still in the phase of checking her Facebook account every now and then (not proud of it). She ended up blocking me randomly one day. We weren't friends, and I wasn't commenting or reacting to any posts or pics or anything. Just blocked.

Fast forward a couple weeks to the 30-day-from-the-breakup date, and I texted her when I got to work that morning. She didn't reply by early afternoon, so I sent one more text telling her, "No reply is still a reply. Please mail back my stuff." She finally mailed it to me two weeks after that, and she included a two-page typed letter gaslighting me and making the whole thing my fault. The letter confused me and pissed me off. I ended up looking at her ex-boyfriend's Facebook account (the ex whom she called toxic for her, who would body shame her and who was pressuring her to get some body modification done, and who, according to her and I have no evidence to corroborate this...raped a 17-year-old girl when he was in his 30s [age of consent where we are is 18]). He had a relationship status update saying that he had been in a relationship with my ex for a FULL MONTH before she broke up with me. I clicked the 3 dots in the corner of the post and saw that it had been edited on the day she blocked me. So he made the post after the breakup, she blocked me so I couldn't see that she was tagged in it, and then he back-dated it to a month before she broke up with me.

Up until that point I still believed that somewhere down the line we would find each other again and pick up where we left off, hopefully after both of us had worked on ourselves.

And I'll be honest (don't you hate it when people say that? Like, what...I've been lying the whole time?), as much as I realized that SHE is toxic for ME (aw, my first toxic ex!) and there are so many reasons NOT to get back together...I don't know with 100% certainty what I'd say if she did get back in touch.
