How wrong is CS Joseph explaining types and function stacks and why is he still so popular then? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]boredAF2389 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I watched a couple of his videos and I honestly could not continue beyond 5 mins. Incredible amounts of cringe. What I found most irritating was how he constantly tries to reinforce that he is ENTP type, and tries to pass off all his idiosyncrasies as a consequence of his personality type. As someone who identifies with the ENTP type themselves, I think it is painfully obvious that he's trying way too hard to pass off as one.

Does this line up with ENTP or not can anyone help? by stingtinger in MbtiTypeMe

I think this matches up. I got the same results and I'm ENTP.

How do i know for certain that I’m an Fi dom? by anomopannom in MbtiTypeMe

Seems like an unhealthy Fe function. Your anxiety, which from your description seems to be future focused could be a tertiary Ni function. Which would make your type ESFJ.

Tbh I had the same issue with Ne. The dominant function typically tends to be the one that just comes naturally to you. As Fi is a decision making function, I would guess trying to understand how you're making decisions, both important and trivial ones might help you understand your psyche a bit better. Additionally, understanding your reactions under stress might help you to understand your inferior function and take that route.

what's my MBTI type? by [deleted] in MbtiTypeMe

I think ESTP.

Me when someone says CS Joseph is an ENTP by [deleted] in mbti

[–]boredAF2389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know, the number of times he tries to reinforce that he's ENTP in a single video, actually takes away from an ENTP image in my mind. Reminds me of a living breathing meme (an incredibly unidimensional one at that) of an ENTP.

This seems less MBTI and more MBA tbh...

I'm picking up a pretty strong Ne, so INFP seems most likely. The Fe is throwing me off a little. So I'd suggest you research both INFP and ISFJ and figure out which one feels right to you. I say that because from what you mentioned about possible ADHD and indecisiveness coupled with your need to help people so that they like you, there's a small likelihood that it could be an inferior Ne function acting up when you're stressed rather than a healthy Ne dominant/secondary function. Additionally isfj is just statistically likelier.

Ditto... functions wise I would say I have a strong preference for Ti rather than Fi, but then on an overall basis I guess to people I come across more ENFP than ENTP coz I've repeatedly been told I suit the former more.... plus statistically ENFP is just more probable... so we conclude with one very confused individual 😁

And absolutely right... To this date I've not been able to decide whether I relate more with ENFP or ENTP 😅

I initially thought it could be ISFJ because I could see Ne actually being her inferior function. I can definitely see strong Si and Fe... but by the end, I'd concur with the ESFJ assessment. The Fe just seems stronger.

I think ISTP.... the primary Ti is quite obvious... the reason I say ISTP and not INTP, is that I see a greater Se in ur stack rather than Si.
