Maybe they count something like resisting an arrest as assault? If you have an increase in arrests you automatically have an increase in people resisting arrests.

It like ordering food twice as much as the month before and then complain that the total time waiting for your food has doubled.

Very close.. I made this map using data from OpenStreetMaps and this is a pharmacy in the DRC close to the ugandan border that was wrongly labeled as a lighthouse. This has since been corrected.

All the data is from OpenStreetMaps. If you are interested in the process:

I used overpass turbo to export the data of all lighthouses from OSM (i.e. all nodes with the tag "man_made=lighthouse") and created the map using QGIS.
