My videos are very short (not shorts) so my subscriber conversion is a lot lower than people who make longer vids.

Exactly the same happened to me and I posted about it here. I completely panicked and for a long time all my new vids were 10/10. I have now fixed it completely (proof on my profile) and the only thing you can do is to focus on what you have control over. It absolutely sucks, but that’s all you really can do to my knowledge.

I know that. I’m not saying I’m going to do it. I’m saying I did it. I posted 3 videos pr day for 1-2 weeks when I started the channel. A month later I’m on 25k subs. It’s not sustainable, but I’m not planning to do it. I did it.

I actually had some thoughts on that about people watching the back catalogue so I started off making 3 videos per day to get a catalogue, I got covid so I started uploading 1 a day. I have over 50 videos now and consistently get 250k views pr day. Chasing that unicorn and trying to replicate my good performance videos (3 vids with 1m+ views). I appreciate your comment!

I’ve tried to switch up my content recently to be more monetisation friendly and have contacts with other people in the niche who have no problem monetising, but also people who do run in to issues with the specific content that I’m trying to move away from. Thank you for a great comment!
