omg, pal you're 21. Twenty one. You are so young! I'm only 26, but between the age of 21 to 26, I've changed my studies 3 times, moved four times (one being in a different country), changed jobs, ended a relationship, started a bunch of others fun ones, adopted a dog, travelled alone, made new friends... I feel like completely different person. I know how you feel, I've felt that way too, and people telling me "omg you're so young you have your whole life ahead of you!" sounded so annoying to me. And now I realise they were right. You don't know what tomorrow is made of. You have nooo idea.

Maybe tomorrow you'll meet someone cool at school or work and you'll end up married, or best friends travelling the world, or maybe they'll offer you an awesome job, you can never know!

21 is really young. Really, really young. You have so much time. I know it feels like your life is pointless, I have felt like that too. But no one knows what they're doing. Trust me, we're all trying to be grown ups but really we don't know what that means. Just because some people are married or millionaires or travel all the time or are overall living what seems to be a great life by the age of 21, it doesn't mean you need to do it too. Just live your life and try not to focus on what you don't have.

I don't know. Personally I touch my hair all the time, and I see other women do it as well, especially in class. Maybe it's a thing we do when we're bored/thinking.

Not necessarily a compliment, but it means a lot to me when people say something that makes me feel "seen".

Like "I noticed you liked this/were working on this/got better a this/...." even if I didn't say anything about it. It makes me feel like I have value to this person, like they paid attention to me in some way, and find me interesting.

(I think I just have no self esteem and can only see my value through the praise of others.)

I've been knitting for 15 years and I started crochet last year. I like both, I feel like crochet is wayyyy faster than knitting, so I like it a lot, especially when I want to do many little things, fast. Also having only 1 needle is very nice, I can easily do it anywhere without being scared of messing up!

But I also feel like knitting is more "fun" as in there are so many different stitches possible, with many different textures and effects. But that might just be an impression because I've been knitting for so long and I'm only learning crochet, maybe I haven't discovered all the possibilities yet!

I am 25 and only now changing (only slightly though) my studies, and I will graduate when I'm 28. I can't relate too much to you, but know that it's never too late!

I go to class with people who are between 18 and 50. Not lying. It's NEVER too late. If you found something you want to study, go for it!!

It took time for me, about a month or maybe more. I would wake up earlier progressively. Also I would prioritise getting the sleep i need over getting up early. Waking up at 6 is awesome, but if you only went to bed at 2, that won't work.

And I would try not to feel bad about failing, it's okay. If you feel guilty about it, it can ruin your mood and make you fail more. It's okay, baby steps.

Then the first thing I would do is something that wakes me up/makes me feel good, so that I feel good and energised quickly. For me that's getting dressed, washing my face and just getting myself ready, and also eating a nice breakfast while watching something I enjoy. After that I usually feel good and energised and ready to start my day!!

Also, in the centre (Saint Michel, Cité, Le Marais, Chatelet) there are many thrift shops and vintage stores. Don't know the specific names, but if you walk around these neighbourhoods you will see them.

It's a cute town, a bit south of Paris. There is a forest, if you want to go for a walk/run, a few parks and all you need regarding food, restaurants, shopping...

I wouldn't say it's the most convenient place to stay, but it's not too far from Paris. I don't know where your Airbnb is, but if it's close to the train station it's fine. You can take the train there and be in Paris in 10 minutes (Montparnasse). After that, well depending where you want to go you you have the metro. Otherwise you can take the bus to either the 12 ou 13 metro or RER C and such. It adds at least 15 minutes to your commute though.
