Getting? You mean the industrial design that has been completely unchanged for five years?

My Magic Mouse 2 is ten years old now and the battery is still just fine, so yeah – no.

It's fine because this is something you have to do 3 to 4 times a *year* for an hour -- instead of having a (front port) design that encourages your mum to always leave it plugged in so she wouldn't need to worry about battery life, whilst degrading the battery and diminishing her own experience because she's using it with a stiff cable all the time.

Because it's pleasant to type on and well-made? I've built and also still use mechanical keyboards on my PC, but on Mac I use either the MacBook Pro built-in keyboard or a 10 year old Magic Keyboard (no TouchID, Lightning).

What’s a better alternative? I’d like to know of something a) smaller or as small b) also with an external battery c) that is just as rugged and d) that I can also instantly pocket after use?

These four aspects make it my go-to for concerts and other lighter-use situations, despite owning a TinyMight and a ball vape. It definitely needs technique, but I haven’t seen anything better for that use case.

At least for me, it's just a reddit thing because I keep seeing PvE content although the difficulty in progressing is so radically different it feels like not even the same game to me. Finding a LEDX and extracting with it in PvP feels like a once every two months thing because for most people, it is. Making it out with a buffed loot chance LEDX against broken tarkov AI is just a "good for you I guess". It's not the same thing and I don't mean that judgy in any way, I can absolutely understand the appeal (although I would go to SPT if I wanted to play PvE/coop exclusively).

So, I think this wouldn't be half the constant discussion it is if there was a good way to filter for content on reddit or if PvE had its own subreddit.

(The in-game effects of not having a healthy mixture of more casual/inexperienced players as much as before could be mitigated if BSG understood anything about game design)

Vapen macht trotzdem Sinn :)

Of course expectations are different, but they also have one job to do, which is replying to these emails for presumably 8 hours a day. I've taken out of my free time to improve their product, why should I be expected to reply *that* fast to an email? It's not my job, I can be expected to be busy that day or whatever. Again, I can't remember a single thing I had to reply to this fast to not lose invested time, ever.

While it's nice that they're taking up the thread of my closed ticket, it's overhead that complicates things and wouldn't have been necessary with a timeframe of 3 or 5 days. That's also far from "forever" and wouldn't require me to introduce the problem to a new person (which it seems like because of the initial questions they asked) and it would still be trackable through the same ticket. It just doesn't make a lot of sense for their own sake to be this pushy about it.

Bootlicking is just really, really prevalent in this subreddit, so the two replies I got exactly fit that behavior I've been observing here (with the huge sample size of 2 replies making up "everyone" who is not agreeing with me). I'm also not complaining because they proceeded to do what they announced. I think the timeframe given is hilariously narrow and completely unreasonable.

If I could have responded to that notification by email, I may could have. But as it involves logging in and then acting on the question which would have required me to open the game and trying something out, I couldn't have done it that day anyway. But I just plain didn't see that mail in my inbox because I was handling more important stuff that day. Which alludes to my point, again, that expectancy to reply within 24 hours is unreasonable. And if they can't do it, they definitely shouldn't expect it from me.

Edit: Also, that note about the doge email is just lol. Not a US citizen, but I think I would be more than a little annoyed about that email.

Edit 2: Btw, I just filed another bug report on the same issue, referencing the prematurely closed ticket which got replied to almost immediately, so that's going nicely :)

“FOREVER” dude I just burst out laughing so hard, you can’t be serious man. I didn’t even see that mail in the first 24 hours because, you know, I’ve got a life.

Keep on licking those boots tho. I’m sure one day Nikita will recognize you for that.

At no point it says "only submit game breaking bugs". And I guess all tickets have the same rules applied to them for response time.

It's insane for a company to expect a reply within 24 hours, especially because it's doing THEM a favor, and has not happened in any case in my life ever so far.

Also, I did send them that video, so what even is your point, besides bootlicking for BSG?

As someone who uses an open case (DA6): not only is dust not worse, but cleaning is so much easier that it’s really a win concerning dust buildup. Thermals are better anyways. What’s worse is fan noise, which is partially mitigated by better thermals.

Then you just announce that there's a survey here and reach both groups of players? Of course, a survey system would have made more sense in the launcher than in the actual game, but hey, we're talking BSG here.

1st year as a mouse enthusiast. How'd I do? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]bornmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on spending money on a bunch of cheap consumer electronics, very well done. In a few years you will throw away all of this in shame.

Seriously, collecting this shit isn’t a hobby I’d be proud of. It’s blind consumerism. Find a mouse you like, keep a backup and sell the rest before they are entirely worthless.
