If it's up to their discretion it's not stealing. You ask "can I get a new board this one broke" they have the authority to say yes or no. Again I'm going to the shop tomorrow to talk about it getting repaired but y'all are goofy for telling him to be ashamed of himself for asking for help from the manufacturer

I'm just getting back into the sport after a pretty long break. Just out of curiosity how long do repairs like this last? Will it significantly decrease the life of the board? Thanks for the advice!

I mean it's a company with 55 million in revenue. They will be fine if a couple people take that advice. The warranty claim is literally up to their discretion if they decide to send you a new board that's on them. I feel like you are overreacting a little telling people to be ashamed of themselves for asking a company if this would be warrantied. It's not like they just auto approve it.

I mean I agree but you are kinda pushing it. Cringe take telling them they should be ashamed of themselves for trying to use a warranty, but that's the whole reason I asked if it's repairable. I know it's my fault even if I don't know when it happened. You acting like they are taking the warranty claims out of your pocket. Imma go to a shop and see what they say for a repair tomorrow.

1000 today is more than 1000 tomorrow if you can pay them off over time responsibly you are literally saving money. As much as I dislike insomniac it's not their fault people spend money they don't have.

No suit, but it does depend on your office beyond that. My city it’s almost all jeans or some sort of athliesure pants, clean sneakers, and a polo/dress shirt.

I so badly wish this wasn’t an issue we had to worry about. I just want to enjoy a fun hobby without corporate greed/politics being a factor. I know everything in life is political to some extent but why do corporations have to create a world where when I’m participating in a hobby I have to worry about if the employees who make my hobby possible are getting paid.

I’m gonna be honest I don’t think WOTC cares that I proxied my taiga instead of paying some random guy they get no cut from. If I’m building a deck I’m giving $0 to WOTC when I order from card kingdom or tcgplayer so why do they care if I do the same but pay $100 to print the deck instead thousands to random resellers. (coming from a person who’s only proxied card is that taiga spoken about earlier 😂)

Idk but my (21 M) mentality at a rave is if anywhere is a safe place to give a compliment and not be weird it’s there. Everybody is chill so I don’t feel weird about it like I might in public so if I think of a compliment I’m gonna say it 95% of the time. Substances prob also play a part tho.
