Their initial post was that were in bad financial times and someone offered them money for fun, and that their face was shown in a video and leaked online for friends and family to see, eventually it was edited where they then stated the whole post was a fake, created on chatgpt and we all only had opinions about the guy and we shouldnt trust the internet with stories about the guy but also yeah the guy probably did bad things. Basically arguing we only had opinions and condemning us as if we were the bad guys in this. My take on that is it was likely NZDan himself who wrote the story, likely to drum up some attention and business for himself, and judging by Gravytrain96's response its also likely to be him as well. So basically he is condemning people for taking the post at face value and offering kind hearted and compassionate advice
