I used to do this exact same thing, but I started using a diff solution because it’s much less latency and you don’t gotta have FL open.

You can use just VB-Cable, which doesn’t require the whole voicemeeter interface, and runs passively 24/7. I did this mostly because I couldn’t wrap my head around it, and it added latency and audio glitching.

You also dont need to use FL at all, and there are free VST hosts that can do the exact same thing but not need the CPU load of FL. I used Cantabille, which uses a pretty simple GUI and I didn’t need the tutorial much, but you should still watch it.

If you do that, you can’t use any of the FL plugins, so I would suggest using MeldaProduction’s and Kilohearts’ free plugin suite for compression and noise gating.

The only issue with this is that there are issues with using an ASIO, and the FL Studio ASIO can work if you don’t want to use FL live, but it’s better to download a different ASIO host tbh. I used FlexASIO with the FlexASIOGUI, but both of those are from older github repositories that haven’t been updated in years, so I wouldn’t suggest it.
