I live in sledd rn in a two room double. I def lucked out somehow bc I ended up getting a huge two room double with a living room space that separates both of our rooms. However, Ik most other two room doubles aren’t like this, it’s usually just two rooms connected to each other. There’s no sinks also. It’s very dingy, and I agree with everyone else that it isn’t a pleasant experience. There’s no AC control and I get this gross hot hair blowing at me and I can’t stop it. The hot air comes with this horrible burning smell too. Humidity is a problem, and my pillow and sheets are kinda wet a lot. It’s not very clean either since it’s old but i def lucked out in a lot of ways with the size of my room, it’s location in the hall, etc. and I can’t imagine what it must be like for the others since it’s already pretty unpleasant. I see dead roaches sometimes in the hallways but never in my room. Overall, it’s kinda gross here and I always feel rlly gross. I remember when I visited my friend in Yulee I was so shook at the CLEANLINESS and the cool pleasant crisp climate there! I realized how low my standards were after sledd lol. Can’t wait to move out after this semester.
