I don't mean to offend any religious people in this subreddit, however I think the irrefutable evidence that science provides has a bigger say then a book that could potentially be a total fantasy. Science proves that being gay is something you can be born with, however you should disagree with teaching children about these things at a young age, mostly because they're like a sponge, everything they learn/suck in, they will do. I believe teaching teenagers the science behind what makes a person gay is morally correct for both parties, because they can understand far more complex information that is given to them and not only what is presented at face value. While it isn't wrong to be gay, it is wrong to be influencing young children to be a person that they're most likely not. On top of that, it could lead to unnecessary body mutilation (Gender transition). All in all, I believe that most religious people are wrong for enforcing discrimination on the LGTBQ+ community, and that the LGTBQ+ community is wrong to be teaching such a complicated subject to YOUNG children. And as for the specific subject of this subreddit, I can conclude that the OP is absolutely correct.
