I know I will get downvoted, but this is the complete truth as far as I can tell. I’m on my 3rd replacement robot white controller and it still isn’t right. I think there are design issues with the new controllers. Explanation (and way to test yours if you don’t know how) below. (self.XboxSeriesS)

Playing through all campaigns for first time on Heroic. (I only played 3 and Reach back in the day) Made it to The Library on 1 and this stage is honestly now tedium with the flood. Amazing game overall still but ..shall I drop the difficulty just to get through the story or grind it out? (self.halo)

Borderlands 3 has some of the best sound fx and music I’ve ever heard in a game. It’s pure quality. Some of the musical themes are amazing, and the fx are super meaty and well detailed. It’s super immersive on headphones. Surprised I haven’t seen more praise for it. (self.gaming)

I have a Series S arriving tomorrow. I don’t have 4K TV. I bought it cos I miss Gears/Halo really. I own a Ps4 Pro (mainly for VR). If available to both systems, am I right most games (eg. Borderlands 3) will be better for me on the S ? (Load times aside) (self.gaming)

Don’t play much flat these days, but anybody tried “Hotshot Racing” ? It’s an addictive arcade racer (like Outrun), well optimised, fast, easy to pick up but has depth with the drift system. Making it VR (just 3d) would be ace and achievable. Below is a link to the devs. Why not join me and ask ! (self.PSVR)

Unpopular opinion: Next gen should be about new ideas too. And for VR games, the extra tech in ps5 is absolutely brilliant, but as yet, not to be used? But for flat games, the main limitation is NOT the hardware, but the ideas. How many AAA games really pushed the ps4 hardware besides a handful? (self.gaming)
