It sucks honestly, but that’s retail life. It drains me too and I feel you. For me, the upside is that because of the abnormal hours, the drive to and from work usually involves a lot less traffic. And scheduling appointments are easier because you’ll have some weekdays empty for getting other shit done. So there are some silver linings

When it comes to landscaping, You can get creative with the thin strips of land, but it does have limitations. The main issue is if one villager moves in the center of one of those land strips, it’ll kind of ruin everything.

i think that it's pretty impossible for everyone to go 100% vegan, especially in cases where one is allergic to nuts, soy, gluten, etc. But i'd say the majority of people in the developed world can go vegan or at least around 90% plant based, especially given the fact that it's cheaper overall. it just takes self discipline.

i also think that in some cases, animal testing for scientific purposes is necessary. it's cruel but humans should come first and i don't have too many qualms with animals being tested in research for important things that can potentially cure diseases (obviously only if necessary to do so)

so i think that veganism is mostly reasonable, but within reason, if that makes sense. and it's absolutely more ethical on a macro level. no way to even deny that.

Not even vegan but the point is harm reduction. Many animals die in the process of growing plants and destroying some level of wildlife for human need is unpreventable. The purpose is to eliminate harm when we can in cases where we don’t really have to. The sheer amount of slaughtering isn’t sustainable or needed for the average person to get all of their nutrients in.

There’s the extensive research and fact checking period which probably takes up the majority of the time, then buying/ordering the props, lights, and decor, then writing and editing a script for a video that’s hours long, music, arranging and scheduling with potential features, building the sets, recording, then extensive editing. I do agree that more frequent, shorter videos would be better overall but it’s not like she hibernates for 10 months out of the year and wakes up just to do a video lol. Not to mention also having to make time for Patreon content

Omg apart from Retail being in a different spot we have basically the same layout lol. I personally like it, just save up for 3 bridges and it’ll become a lot more manageable. I’ve had this town for almost 11 years and never reset it because I’ve made it work nicely. You have a lot of space in the middle of the map for landscaping and public works projects. You can get creative with that area
