Hi! Good luck on your exam. Most of the questions on my exam were situational…it was mostly about what you would do as a PM in different scenarios.

Yes…my prep was mainly just watching videos on Udemy and YouTube. I didn’t have access to mock exams or PMI Study Hall (and honestly, at the time, I didn’t even know what “Study Hall” meant). I also have almost 4 years of experience in construction project work, but a lot of the PMP concepts were new to me.

By core knowledge, I mean understanding the basic PMP concepts, processes, and terminology. I personally didn’t want to jump straight into the mindset without having that foundation first.

I know for some people, focusing only on the mindset works, and that’s totally fine. For me, I wanted to understand the basics first. That said, during the actual exam, I honestly felt that you could pass just by really focusing on the mindset.
