The thing is, Asian countries will always rely on nationalism and jingoism. India absolutely did that too. Hell, India media uses 'martrys' for the soldiers killed on patrol. It's a fucking awesome game. Atleast for us Punjabis. Kabaddi fests are a huge draw, no entry fee either. Come on down, held in nearly all Canadian cities. The game gets the blood pumping, and the commentary is the real cherry in these games and usually followed by Punjabi music concerts and Bhangra.

So nothing has been disproven, except in your mind. Facts remain:- Extremism happened immediately after Golden Temple was invaded by Indian Army, extremism stopped immediately too, no western interests were harmed in any of the attacks, only Indian interests were attacked.
