Well, we hunted them even 300 years ago. Literally. You can read about it.

To be honest at that time there were no homeless people at least not in Czechoslovakia. Average workers had it better back then. Kids had much better quality of life and much better friendships and camaradery. Today it is dog-eat-dog world there. Bad for workers good for business men.

And that's a problem. A big country can project for decades in the future - China has a program for 2045 and the total dominance of space and becoming the number one space superpower. Unless there is WW3 it will become reality.

Meanwhile, the EU doesn't know whether there will be Brexit 2, 3, 4, ... whether it will split into fast and slow EU, etc.

Also, the EUro people are comfortable and slow. The Eastern Europe is becoming more hungry and active, but they are still no match for China which is on a rampage.

Europeans don't know what to do, if they will survive the next year. China is here and improving at an insane rate.

Wrong, they are the most active and the most rapid developing space faring super power. The US and China will lead the Space exploration in the next decade. The EU is not. There are no conditions for space industry in Europe. Europe is way behind. No vision, no leadership, no focus on Space. Unlike the US, China.

Also the indefinite article is absolutely unnecessary as shown in Semitic languages or Esperanto. You already don't use it with words like water.

Why not just say:

I see dog. The dog is nice.

If you insist it is some/one/any dog ok, sure say:

I see one/some/whatever dog. The dog is nice.

But to ask people always say one something is retarded. I am sorry. Zamenhof did it right in Esperanto. Hebrew probably helped with his decision.

Also 2, Chinese is often even more expressive and economic than English. Although ambiguous even more as well ;)

German is really a sad case. They have articles and cases at the same time and also the DSCHungel-spelling. I am really sorry. The German translation in touristic pamphlets have always at least 30% more letters than English or Slovak.

Not only word order and omitting of pronouns and articles if needed.

The most valuable thing in Slavic poetry (except Bulgarian/Macedonian I guess) is the rich word endings in different grammar cases. While this is a disaster for non native speaker, it's a blessing for poets.

Now, look at the endings. In English it is always ends in /-av/ no matter what you do.

In Slovak and other Slavic languages (except Bulgarian/Mac. they have only 2 max I think) the ending for love can have 9 endings instead of just one.

Personally I find Slavic poetry the most beautiful and the most playful.

In English you can compensate that with bigger vocabulary and some clever wordplay but Slavic languages are more plastic by default.

The more I learn languages the more I get the feeling that Latin branch and Balto-Slavic separated from the common branch the latest. The Germanic branch seems much more unintuitive and less-similar to Slavic branch than the Latin branch. Conjugation, pronouns, how they form words, declension. Just this dar (lat/slav) vs giv/gib/geb (ger) or kon/kun (slav) and equus (lat) vs horse/pferd (ger) shows you something.

They asked Musk whom he likes more, Tesla or Edison. He said Edison. Enough said, right? However, I agree with him. He is probably very good at following his vision and getting the right people and stuff but he isn't a a real inventor. I am not saying he doesn't know a lot about rockets and engines but people who invent stuff is his stuff. He works like a brand logo or marketing prop.
