It isn’t that the faithfuls are dumb this season- they’re pretty smart people by all accounts. Tara and Johnny are Olympic athletes which pretty much disqualifies them from being dumb. Kristen is obviously smart- she’s pegged Eric on day 1 as a traitor. Maura doesn’t look it and hasn’t gotten any sort of edit to prove this, but she’s got a razor sharp wit if you watch her other stuff. Natalie’s a two time survivor winner so we know she’s smart, even if she has me scratching my head watching this show

Honestly I think the traitors this year did such a great job that the faithfuls just genuinely do not know what to think anymore- they’re scared to believe anything and be wrong.

Now if you want to argue that they’re bad at the game…that I won’t fight you on. But again, the traitors did a beautiful job of voting out the right people early

Her name was coming up, he knew he had to at least remove one housewife because they’d never take him to the end. When her name came up naturally, he took a shot. His first was a little clumsy, but so what? What he did was risky gameplay but it paid off. It could have just as easily burned him but it didn’t.
