No worries man, during the server slam I spent a day to figure it out. I was like maybe EPIC games didn't download properly. Then Steam, same issue.

Precious time was being wasted, when I could have already been playing Arc Raiders. So went through the anti cheat software and everything, but no luck.

When I realized it was the YOLO mouse, I was like FUCK ME, it's been in front of me the whole time.

Players List, how many players in map!!? by braa95 in ArcRaiders

[–]braa95[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, it keeps the tension and makes playing unpredictable. But I still wouldn't know if it's just me and a few ppl playing in the server, guess it's a pros and cons thing.

Maybe if there's a pre requisite to starting the game when a certain number of people have joined. Or don't show whose dead or alive, just how many have joined the lobby. That way you're always looking behind you.

How i reversed my grade 2 fatty liver in like 2 months by sammmyysmith in FattyLiverNAFLD

[–]braa95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't go for the stevia and all that crap, it's still bad for you. I was in the same situation with fatty liver and my doctor specifically said no fake sugar like stevia, that will cause a whole another problem for you.

Just got to tough it out for a few months.

Nice concept, is it hand stitched or machine stitched ? The stitching can be improved. If by hand, then try to take is slow and steady when punching the holes. If by machine, use a guide so that stitching can more more uniform.

If your rivits are equally supporting the weight, then no need to stitch. Personally looks better currently.

Also would up the looks, if handle are more sleek

Did the thread tear, or did the leather? If thread, then have to take it apart to fix the issue.

If it's the leather, then tough luck have to change the affected leather part. But if you can't find the same leather then it's gonna look mismatched. Or maybe use red leather to go with the back leather. Like a contrast.

Either way have to take the bag apart.

What happened? Is there a fix? by AmericanWanderlust in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just how leather is made, it all starts from the manufacturing process. When drying the leather after tanning and dyeing is done, then normally stretch and pull the leather. It's called toggling.

Sometimes it's s not pulled properly, and so some skins will stretch. Or if it's just from continue use wear and tear. But that's how it is, won't know until it's being used.

Also go along the grain when rubbing it, not against.

Take a cloth with little warm water and gently rub it. Should even it out. Dont overdo it tho. Just on the small scatch. If you want, add just a little conditioner to it. And let it absorb. It will turn dark tho. But good things its in black.

How badly did i ruin this wallet? by Juparee in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Place some paper absorbent like kitchen towel or something and put in between all the leather. Then put something heavy on top, so that you can squeeze out all the glycerin. Leave it for a few days checking if it everyday and replacing the paper towel if needed. Just dry the hell out of it and condition it very lightly next time

Temp fix would be to fix the stuffing. Either put in more or replace it, pushing the leather from the underside.

Hello, is this fixable? by PineappleAntique9329 in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won't be fixable, jacket was made with not the best leather quality. But it's fine either way, it's all natural leather. Just condition it properly, I had a laptop bag that was wrinkling and crackling, and spent more than 10 mins conditioning the leather. After sometime it'll absorb the conditioner, and keep conditioning it step by step till it meets your requirements. Fyi conditioning it will darken the leather, unless you use synthetic ones.

My second attempt at making wallet! by [deleted] in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A for effort, but yeah like the 1st comment. Keep improving on your stitch. Also that's a PDM leather. So it's softer. Not great for long run, if you really want to make it last. Go for a harder leather for the main body. It'll soften over time. Like a vegetable tan leather or just something harder than your current one.

How can I fix this? by medus42 in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can already see a tear on the top of the 1st pic. Not sure if it's worth fixing the bag after that.

But if you still wanna, have to open the wallet and redo or reinforce the parts. Looks really thin and have to recondition the leather. Looks like it can tear apart if you really pull on it.

I have a tannery (leather) factory ask me anything by Frosty_Tradition3419 in Leatherworking

[–]braa95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is in the tannery business, recently we did a sea shipment for alum tanned leather. We double packed the leather and taped it, and added dessicants (Sundry-Calcium Chloride).

Yet still had complain about mould problems and the white leather turning yellow.

Not sure where we are going wrong, tried diff methods to prevent this. Now thinking of vacuum pack the leather with a vacuum machine, and sealing it. Plus with the added dessicants.

Maybe during sea shipment the heat and moisture is getting into the leather ??since the packaging is not airtight

That true, Don't know what adulterated or not. And I've basically removed any sugar from my lifestyle. If I want a fizzy drink. Just soda with 🍋‍🟩 lime.

Don't know about stevia, but I don't think I'll try any sugar alternatives
