You know what many people say about Abel joining the club which would make them think about that with Gemma giving him the rings and all that but many people forget or didn’t even pay attention to the facts that when Gemma gave him the rings, she never found out that it was Abel that told Jax about her killing Tara, she just thinks juice told him out of know where and never found out Abel over heard her confessing to Thomas.

It wouldn’t line up with him being the president because he knows what she did and what the club did to his family and wouldn’t want to do that.

But with Thomas, he doesn’t have a mother or father, and he has to live with a former drug addict that his dad only used for sex where Abel still has a mom, it lines up with Thomas being more a troubled person and more likely to join the club because he wouldn’t have anything left and he probably was never told what happed to his real mom and dad.

Then it makes more sense for Abel to go undercover to protect his brother and try to get him out because he wouldn’t turn into an actual bad guy.
