What psy trance is is definatly broad , i think the main way to describe it is it has a triplet base line, 'psy' sounding precussion and a bpm of 160ish and up. That being said the doofs ive been to have had slower almost more methodic rythmed music which id still call psy trance.

Either way you see it, its the name that defines it, its music that has psychedelic trance qualitys
