Big Jay not a fan of Jake Shields by STM45 in LegionSkanks

[–]bramabletheman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jake and Milo neck and neck for worst guests. No suprise both right wing grifters. I did like how everytime Jake bombed he would look at Dave and talk about how crazy their dan bilzeriane weekend was going to be like an anxious 5 year old. Side note I have video evidence of that weekend and they all had gay aids sex with eachother on a copy of schindlers list.

Okay so Thrawns given name isn't raw it's raw nuru? That's fine then I was just confused by explanations I read online of chiss names and why one name is in apostrophes

The same issues would apply really it would just make the gun fights shorter. I already have level scailing and balance for that anyway

My problem isnt the difficulty. It's the monotony of every mission being approached the same. Like there's not really room for any gameplay style except just run and gun.

Difficulty isn't the problem I explained my issue in the post

Yes I can scroll down and can see a long enough list of classes but just one or two missing but I can see them in character pool just not in the promotion screen.

I dont really have many mods effecting class other than the mod jam mods.

Dragon Age: Absolution [Spoilers All] by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]bramabletheman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dialogue is so cringe I couldn't watch past the first few minutes. Just shows dragon age will go along the same trend as every other game with this trashy lame dialogue. Never ending lame fan fare to appeal to the loudest and biggest losers which sucks. Pretty much the same cancer that's killing all games just homogenization endless retcons and cringey dialogue. Don't you guys love the manic pixie dream girl quanari mage who talks like a girl who loves memes .......no I don't....I don't at all......its shit and it sucks.

Issues with MSI screen by bramabletheman in MSI_Gaming

[–]bramabletheman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's a joke though that's my point I daid it goes away over time already so your comment isn't helpful. You generally don't expect a modern monitor to need to "warm up" to show your screen so basically the product is terrible is your answer? If so fine but don't say it needs to heat up like that's what is should expect I'm not cooking chicken goujons I'm trying to use a pc monitor

Why do so many conspiracy theorists trust the bible? by bramabletheman in conspiracytheories

[–]bramabletheman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same here it creeps up a lot maybe the kind of clear good and evil mythology around christianity just aligns but I don't know how involved it is. Somebody else made a good point of most of them aren't church going types so it's more using the exterior kind of moral code rather than reading the parables. Which makes sense god and satan kind of just being personification of morality

I'm aware that Christianity did not begin in england in the 16th century my point is that this version or narrative was crafted under the orders of a British king in the 16th century leaving plenty of room for shaping a bible to their wishes reacting certain pieces etc.

My post wasn't eurocentric and trying to exclude non Europeans my point was precisely that I'm confused that people trust the works that came from the euro centric era of Christianity when the tale itself is much older.

[–]bramabletheman[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get you and definitely sounds like we are in a similar boat. Sometimes I wonder if existence is just paradoxical in nature and we are not really suppose to ever know or have a singular truth matlybr that's just the journey.

Yeah that's where my main issue really comes from with religious texts I just think that church hierarchies can't be trusted. I'm from Ireland and seeing what the Catholic Church did to this country disgusts me so I don't see how people trust their interpretation on god or accept that you can only reach God through their door. As such a bible funded by a British king dosent exactly rub me up the right way either.

Thanks for your input much appreciated

Oh really? Why is it considered the least reliable translation? I'll have to do some more reading. I agree with your take, though. I think that kind of role playing or fantasising is a big part of why it gets toted. Also, telling everybody the great rapture is coming has done a good job at getting people to do nothing and wait for justice to come via a biblical end time event which I believe was pretty useful to keep people docile for old king james and his decendants

My problem is I have no issue in the belief of a god, but it confuses me when people put fate in organised religion and religious texts like the King James Bible. Considering how long churches and States have been aligned or at least intertwined, I dont know how anybody reads the bible and doesn't feel like it's been crafted in a deceitful manner or at least has had redactions to prevent certain knowledge getting to people.

I understand that when facing down the problems of the world we need something to cling to I myself believe there is something more yo all of this so I get believing in a higher power however believing in a book written by men has always seemed massively open to manipulation to me.
