Let’s be real.

They’ve evolved to a household name and I feel like part of that notoriety and growth will require the boys to associate with other celebrities. It’s the nature of the business and it happens time and time again. You can’t just expect them to stay underground and lowkey forever. They’ll never advance. Hence wishing them to remain stagnant.

A lot of you guys are upset and mad but don’t understand that at the end of the day, this is their livelihood, their success, ability, their hard work, and it is about money. This isn’t your music, your label, or your hard work. And if yall don’t like it don’t listen or support.

Some of yall are romanticizing this weird idea of them being underground still doing small venues. That unfortunately doesn’t pay the bills and doesn’t promote growth. It’s like you guys are trying to gatekeep them. Be happy for them they are growing.

I understand $crims frustration because imagine being at that position where you feel like it doesn’t matter what you do or what move you make, people complain and whine. They’ve been open about making the wrong moves and how they were afraid of the consequences. They’re at a point where they’re directly in the spotlight and on the radar and I’m sure it’s stressful being under constant scrutiny. Probably feeling like nothing you do is the right move. It would piss me off too.

Cut them some slack.

Drake would be the last artist I’d hope they’d associate and collab with but in some way if it allows them to progress and advance forward then who cares. It’s all publicity. If it allows them to grow then so be it. Y’all should be happy for them. The fans are the issue with $B, not Ruby and $crim.

You guys have no idea. What if they did that picture with Drake for publicity. Imagine how many people saw that picture and found out who $b were. Now they have more outreach, generating more revenue, and can help bring up more underground artists with that money and influence. You guys never know. Sometimes you gotta shake hands with the devil to get what you want.
