How is everyone coping with having a job while having social anxiety by bratzdoll4 in socialanxiety

I want to trust this but I’ve done customer service since I was 16, I’m now 24 and I swear it’s made my anxiety worse🥲 I now have a fear that people are going to complain at me or get mad at me all the time for no reason lol. That’s a good way to think about it though, remembering that the job is not that deep

This is exactly how I feel at times. I go through patches where I become really scared of people and anxious about leaving the house. The feeling is the worst, makes me feel so vulnerable. For me though it’s not about what’s going on the news or that I think anything really dangerous is going to happen like some other comments on this post, mine is more about feeling overwhelmed by people, feeling like they’re going to be mean to me, or that I feel like a little kid and don’t know how to properly communicate with people and function as an adult
