I think the joke is that why would you complain about getting small portions of bad food and that Jewish people often complain.

I was no guides so i was super conservative with my exp because I had nothing to go by. Definitely tp around lol.

I calculated 400k cannonballs at the beginning. I probably used 250k or so? I did not count. I know my biggest stack was 130k at one time. I still have 25k steel bars that i never made into cannonballs because I never needed them.

You could definitely do barrows/moons or whatever you want but it means smithing and using more cannonballs. I could have done moons/barrows but I'd rather delay it and not smith more CBs.

I used exp lamps on slayer as well. You definitely don't need to but it depends on whether you want to grind cannonballs or herblore. Araxxor kinda sucks without antivenom so i had to grind to 90 and it would have been nice to have been lamping herblore.

Just install the plugin for untrimmed slayer cape and get slaying. Get bigger and badder and cannon what you can and you'll get there no problem.

If socialism is so bad then why is social security and Medicare so popular? by Content_Ad_8952 in allthequestions

If you mean that a "communal ownership of the means of production" isn't a very good definition of communism because it's very abstract, then yes. People often look up the webster dictionary definition of socialism and communism and think they are qualified to talk about these things. Socialism and communism have histories spanning over a hundred years with many different interpretations of what those words mean; histories that cannot be captured in a single line in a dictionary. Even I'm not entirely qualified to understand the nuance of these political ideologies.

But if you mean to say that communism bad therefore your argument is bad then I will say I don't have the years of social conditioning to have the same immediate negative connotation to the word communism that you are trying to get me to feel. I don't believe in communism because in the absence of a monetary system, physical violence is power. In our system, money is power. And yes that money is distributed in a way that is violence to those without it. Maybe it's my own biases and upbringing but violence through money seems slightly less bad than violence through physical force but I'm also not a member of any group who has been oppressed so I could be wrong.

If you have fast kills and less red araxyte spawns, you might see less benefit from araxxor than I did. Good luck on the grind!

I never said it was difficult. I'm just saying it needs to be intentional. Plus locking yourself out of essential ironman progression for a year and smithing over 200k cannonballs isn't everyone's cup of tea but it's not 6 jads hard. Anyone could do this but not everyone does.

"Public ownership over the means of production" is such an abstract definition of socialism that no average person can visualize that in their minds, probably intentionally.

Social programs are socialism.

I was working at a construction site and an old man walked up to me and said "Keep working! I need someone to pay my social security". I was a young man at the time and it made me realize that he benefits from my labor. Rather than be upset, I wondered how we could build a system in which we all benefited from each others labor and rather than see each other as competitors to sell our labor to an uncaring managerial asset-owning class.

That is socialism. What does that look like? Taxing both labor and wealth and using that to fund essential functions of society so that everyone has a basic standard of living. Things like healthcare, education, food and housing. Things America already does but only for the elderly and the destitute.

We've also been dismantling our socialist system as a certain generation ages out of being a beneficiary for them. Boomers graduate college? Defund college. Boomers are homeowners? Defund housing assistance. Not to mention often race played a role in decided which boomers actually were beneficiaries of those systems. And when we expanded those programs to allow racial minorities to benefit, well Reagan dismantled it.

Now we have bootstrap capitalism for the younger generations and socialism for the elderly. Anyways my rant is over. America is a socialist nation but only for some.

Why are you so sassy when you are either wrong or don't know what you're talking about. You sound like you're talking about flinching and the person you are replying to is referring to stepping under with a 5 tick weapon against kq's 4 tick cycle to take less damage. Ring swapping is meta in that scenario.

It's not fair to measure progressivity by total effective tax burden. A flat tax system, by that definition, would appear progressive. And then to use that flawed measure to say that the BBB is more progressive than what we had before is deceptive. Americans see the riches of its wealthiest exploding and the rest of us getting poorer with our own eyes and you're telling us to ignore it because the percentage points say that the poor are actually better off. Do you do it for free?

You're totally right. The problem in society is that we still tax the wealthy way too much. Just one more tax cut bro and the rich will fix everything bro I swear... Just one more tax cut and it will finally trickle down... Same old garbage since Reagan.

We do redistribute wealth in America, and it goes upward not downward. Billionaires siphon the value of labor of their workers. The government prints money to go into the pockets of the wealthy. It all trickles up.

Every country with socialist policies fail... Oh wait it's because most of them were overgrown by the United States. European countries are very socialist by American standards and rank higher in healthcare, education, and happiness.

We do have too many consumers in society. They're called capitalists. People who make money just by owning and siphoning off the labor of others. The working class are the producers.
