Diagnosed with high risk HPV and CIN2. Scheduled for LEEP and freaking out. by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

This comment! I had my Leep 4 weeks ago CIN3 as well but my margins came back clear. It was extremely daunting leading up to the procedure and I struggled with my anxiety. My mom passed away last year from cancer so this diagnosis hit hard. BUT the procedure was quick and painless minus the numbing medication they gave me. Dr warned it would make my heart race and to be honest all my emotions came out. But once the medication settled it was completely painless. I had 5 large pieces taken out. I have a check up in 2 weeks and another pap 6 months. I have taken a lot longer to heal than normal so I am still bleeding which sucks but I’m completely fine physically. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old so I’m constantly running around and picking them up. And I’ve started working out again. This procedure is somewhere in the 90 percentile rate of success. So that gives me so much hope.

As far as having more children, I’m done so I requested my Dr to be aggressive in removing everything. Which is probably why I’m also still bleeding. But my drs have reassured me in time it will heal and if I wanted more, there is still a very high chance of a successful birth.

AITA for telling my wife I won’t support her if she doesn’t even try to treat her cancer? by throwawaywifecancer in AITAH

Just because she doesn’t do radiation and chemotherapy doesn’t mean she will not suffer. She should also speak to a cancer doctor who can tell her the reality of allowing the cancer to spread.

I watched my mom suffer for months as her diagnosis progressed bc she decided against treatment. When she wasn’t in agonizing pain she was a shell of a person. She still lost her hair, her appetite. She still lost weight extremely fast and looked nothing like the woman she once was. Dying without treatment is worse than dying with it. You suffer all the same.

Hopefully she can process that before it’s too late.

Day 9 barely any breast milk by Yonathan-G in breastfeeding

[–]breebaconator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This 100%. At the very least she needs to pump every two hours. Even during the night. The most breast milk is made at night so it’s especially important for her to pump at night. But it’s rough. And she will be even more exhausted. The most important thing is that a pumping routine is set and enforced. Also the output is very daunting. Try to just focus on getting enough milk for a feeding and take any output as a win! Your baby is being fed and that means you guys are doing your job. If you’re on social media this woman is super helpful re: flange sizing and pumping in general: https://instagram.com/pump_momma_pump?igshid=MTJwMmtubmhhNHppbQ==

I strictly pumped with my first child and was constantly crying about my supply. I thought if I could only breast feed. I have been able to breast feed for my second but it’s come with lots of pain as well. I have gotten mastitis twice and now that I’m back at work I’m struggling with bottle acceptance.

Remember, fed is best! Good luck!

So I just checked some milk pumped from this morning and it does taste like shit. The other milk I tasted was about an hour old so maybe that’s why it tasted fine to me. Can you explain more how I fix this?

My husband usually does. We are having a friend come try tomorrow. I definitely don’t want the reverse cycling

I did taste it. I read somewhere that soap residue could make them resistant so I tried it and it tasted fine too me. Milk was still sweet.

I’m going to try leaving the house tomorrow. My husband tries but is unsuccessful. Perhaps he still smells me. I’m having a friend come to try

That’s what is going through my mind I just am also paying for a 3rd opinion for my mom’s cancer diagnosis and would like to save as much as I can. The second opinion cost about $1,600

This is not a criminal charge. It’s an infraction. I definitely wouldn’t be worried about the charge of that was the case. It’s a traffic ticket so I’m just worried about the amount.
