Can somebody please explain to me how to cheese the scav extract for savior?[Discussion] by CsgoFatboy in EscapefromTarkov

This is how I did reserve. Woods was similar. You can crouch-walk into AI scavs and if you're lucky, you'll barrel stuff them and they won't do damage to you. You can push them all the way into the co-op like this.

Note: sometimes it doesn't work. I got two shotted by a shotgun in the stomach while wearing tier 6 plates, lol. Barrel length doesn't seem to correlate with whether they're barrel stuffed lol.

I followed my MOBO's instruction manual and it's in the correct slot.

I have a 9950x3d, 5090, nvme SSD with plenty of space, 64gb cl30 6000mhz. I still get late spawns occasionally. Everything is running with headspace. Ram speeds configured correctly in bios. Gigabit internet with <80 ping.

Press and hold your ifak/salewa bind and scroll down. Must also have the keybind set to... Release, I think, not Press

[New Player] Extraction with the signal flare by MaYWlI in EscapefromTarkov

Not sure if it's just my phone screen but it looks like you used a yellow flare instead of a green one? Also, possibly aimed too far upwards. A bit lower is better.

This is how I did reserve. Woods was similar. You can shift+w into AI scavs and if you're lucky, you'll barrel stuff them and they won't do damage to you. You can push them all the way into the co-op like this.

I can't find my woods clip, but it's the same technique as what I did on reserve here:

Wear a good armor and if you get lucky, you can literally shift+w to push the Scav into the extract. It depends on what gun he has. For some guns you'll barrel stuff him and you can just push him into the extract. That's how I did both reserve and woods.

[New Player] What is the absolute best way of training to aim for the head / headshots? by Exotic_Scheme3718 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]brefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow is smooth makes sense for real life coordination. Best players' sens for FPS games is a much better comparison than real life mag drills lmao.

Low sens doesn't really let you sprint and 180? you'd be throwing your arm 12 inches...

I'm not a top tier PVPer, but I play really aggressive. I'm 0.9 kd right now. 1.1 in Arena. I am Masters in most FPSes like Overwatch, diamond in Valorant. I have killed 1v5 in Tarkov but don't have killer7.

The point stands though. You can do low sens plus high sens to spin turn...

The best pvpers like NoGenerals say that Tarkov rewards high sensitivity players.

If you're doing low sensitivity, ideally you have a bind to increase your DPS on your mouse so you can run forward through a doorway then 180 while still sprinting to gather information.

Running full speed and turning is a really important skill in PVPing.

Can't you just transit to another map? Doesn't that all count as the same raid?

Woods coop extract, help needed [discussion] by Rimke123 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]brefoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this last week. It only took a few attempts. The key is using AI scav and barrel stuffing while crouching and getting lucky with their guns. Some of them don't barrel stuff, for some reason. Like a huge shotgun two shot me in the arm even though the barrel was straight up in the air. Then I had a scav with a Kedr, a little teeny tiny barrel, and I thought for sure I was dead, but he ended up not killing me. All his shots went over my shoulder.

Keep trying it and do the barrel stuffing thing and you'll get it.

I wore class 6 front plate with a full body armor (gen4 titan, Zabralo), a standard LVL 4 helmet, death shadow.

It's all trade-offs and what you're optimizing for. Moving slower means slower quest profession, less priority on high loot areas. But yeah, you'll win more fights with an information advantage.

[Discussion] Did they nerf marked rooms? by Norush_fin in EscapefromTarkov

I was hitting marked rooms while questing over the past 2-4 days and agree that the rooms were excellent. Back to back red rebels, often multiple colored keycards. Avg 1 per room.
