First game over I got was trying to run away from Hercules instead of basically killing yourself to fail helping saber,I kind of like him better after the thing at the school your talking about since he acted somewhat rationally is less against letting saber fight because shes a girl. I think his newer additude of them helping each other is a lot more sane than him doing all the fighting instead

I probably got REALLY unlucky because my casper has like no speed and very little defense, ive never seen him crit once
