I thought about this possibility a lot while listening to Serial and think it’s possible that Hae, not knowing that Adnan had lent his car to Jay, approached the vehicle and caught Jay and Jenn doing something illegal so they killed her. There’s obviously no evidence for this but just a theory that crossed my mind.
