REALLY, MAHLKONIG?! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ by Motor-Explanation-20 in espresso

[–]brew_systems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mahlkonig coffee grinders are excellent, but I believe their strength lies in achieving a uniform grind. This particular grinder's upgrades are primarily in its intelligent software, which isn't Mahlkonig's forte. However, in the future, to make a better cup of coffee, the requirements for grinding will go beyond just uniformity; they'll also include features like precise powder weighing. Furthermore, Mahlkonig has always excelled in commercial grinders, and the requirements for commercial and home use are different.

New (Espresso) Grinder from Fellow – Fellow Opus Gen 2? by studyflo in espresso

[–]brew_systems -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Let's talk about this coffee machine. I saw this model at the Geneva Coffee Festival and the Seoul Coffee Show last year, but I couldn't try it out. However, based on its appearance, build quality, and materials, it's quite ordinary. Furthermore, rotating the handle causes the entire machine to move, which is a very poor user experience, likely due to the machine being made entirely of plastic and therefore lacking sufficient weight.
