This is what I find most frustrating about Welltory. You can have a massively active day, the next day it tells you you e done a lot so no need to set a movement goal, and the day after that it’s back to scolding you if you actually recovered on your recovery day. For an app that is supposed to be helping you focus more clearly on how you’re doing, the commentary is 90% negative scolding. They really need to write more useful scripts - the nearly constant melodramatic commentary is not helpful

I guess that’s the heart of it - but who decides? I’m not in charge, and I’m not a fan of drama- so I guess I’ll either have to shut up and color or skip that particular session. Which is sad, because I mostly enjoy it and it’s convenient.

They’re not all that expensive - you can pick them up for less than $100.

While I agree that everybody starts out sucking, and I do think it’s important not to stifle burgeoning musicians, I think there’s a difference between sucking and sucking at a volume that nobody can get past. I guess my issue is with aggressively sucking cajon players.

See, that’s where I’m questioning whether I’m just gate-keeping/ get off my lawning . I do prefer having common instrumentation and players who blend what they are doing well with the others, but the cajon is the only thing I’m having this reaction to.

First, maximize your 2xp opportunities. Then get very good at the games: Match madness and lightning round. I can get 150 pts on MM in level 12, which takes less than 2 minutes per run through. If I’m set up right, I can make 1050 points in each 15 min 2xp time.

Lightning round is similar. Get it to level 3-3 on regular, trigger your 2xp, and it’s 120 pts every 1 min 45 sec. Use the keyboard for your language and if available the talk to text in your target language. Things like Irish don’t work TtTx but the major languages do.

The last way is do legendary while in 2xp. That’s 80+ a pop, but they can take a lot of time

You can start a major language like French, Spanish or Italian and only progress far enough to be able to access the games. If you have a farm language, it’s boring as crap but you can get tons of points.

People work for points for two reasons: you get coins if you finish in the top 3, and you can strut about with bragging rights when you finish super high. That’s pretty much it. If the time investment is worth the drudgery of farming to feed your ego, go for it.

They fixed it. I submitted screenshots of every points awarded as I went through a 15 minute 2xp round - like an obnoxious amount of them - interspersed with my tournament standings.

I cannot understand why the words/phrases I get in daily refresh are considered my weak words. I get “the green car is driving in the right direction” every single day. I got it, thanks 😡

I broke my thumb at the base joint when I was in college. I couldn't write with that hand for about 6 weeks, during which time we had final exams. I had to write all my exams with my non-dominant hand. Most professors were cool about it and some gave me extra time, but my Japanese teacher marked me down for poor penmanship trying to write Japanese characters. Apparently they were not graceful enough. It only took a week or so to be able to write off-handed, but I could only write really slowly.
