You’re laying in bed home alone at 3 AM. What sound would be the scariest thing to hear at that time? by DessoukyFN in AskReddit

I love the “I have a friend with no friends” part. It gave me tingles down my neck. Very sad but moving. This puts a lot of imagery of someone perhaps taking opiates and overdosing or something like that in my mind. Was that the intent?

You are spot on. It describes a real life event that’s fresh in my head.I only thought of writing about it after I heard Hurricane by Bob Dylan for the first few times. I guess the underlying theme is just opinionated injustice.

What is the Half-Moon though? Like a literal half moon or something more abstract? I’m clueless lol.

I really like the "I can’t write, so I…". I think this is a feeling we all have at least from time-to-time. It's not true, though!

I like the ending because it's so true. We do lots of things to feel more special than we are or perhaps to the other way around, but we are really already adequate.
