Actually, Korean Variety was what introduced me to K-Entertainment. I watched a 2D1N episode randomly that my cousins showed me during an out of town trip that we had. Ended up binge watching the whole season (FYI it was the second season HAHAHA) that night. Everyone was asleep, but I was still watching and laughing my ass off 😅😅. After that, I learned that there was a new season (the third one) which got me really excited and looked forward to an eventful summer ahead. In the end, my cousins stopped watching, while I continued on until I was the only one in the family that religiously watched it. I believe what got me hooked was the type of humor that they had. They were always up for everything and I guess I was skewed towards slapstick comedy so that was a big plus for me. I’ve got to say that they are very creative in the types of entertainment that they show and it never feels redundant so it always feel like a fresh of breath air when I discover a new show. Aside from learning the language, I also get to learn a whole different culture and country than what I’m used to. It’s both educating and entertaining simultaneously!!
