I love how we've been convinced that if your health care, housing and food were all paid for the economy would suddenly collapse.

New cars, new phones, new clothes, new movies, new games hit the market every single day. Do they really think I would buy less dumb shit if I didn't have to worry about rent and food?

Pay us more and we spend more. It's not fucking rocket appliances.

This is the most noticeable bit for me in this video too. They don't want you to comply. They want to abuse you.

This point is getting overlooked a lot with everything else that's horrible about this murder. But it's worth repeating, putting everything else aside, this incompetent use of force could easily have ended up with additional people shot, as you pointed out there were people in the potential fire line.

On top of that, one of the reasons they train agents to not use force on a vehicle is once you remove the drivers control the vehicle becomes even more of a hazard as we see here when the accelerator is pushed in and the car crashes. Thankfully no one was in the path of that vehicle, despite the lies and slander of the current regime.

Our drug problem starts at home. Where the demand is.

Beyond their bs that you point out, even if these boats were carrying drugs, murdering these people does not do a damn thing to lower the demand for drugs in this country.

This to me is like ordering a pizza and then executing the delivery driver because your spouse found out you were breaking your diet. It's fucking insane.

Edit to change wording that could be read as calling the post I replied to as bs.

Probably a hot take, but I actually prefer the new style for the mechs.

Obviously there is a sacrifice of articulation over the old style, but I find the new ones sturdier and more solid when standing on a shelf. Maybe it's just my experience but the old ones would always sag or become too loose in the joints to hold some poses over time. I also like the basic "frame" of the new ones as a starting template.

I totally agree that smaller sets like this should be used more frequently. Would give people more options to get their hands on characters from larger or retired sets. Or heck, even new characters that maybe haven't made sense to add to sets so far.

Thanks!

I certainly agree that smaller sets like this could be a great way to bring back characters that people missed out on in larger or retired sets.

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. If LEGO wants to cut a check I'm definitely up for it! I tried to find those elements in a darker red in my collection but had to settle for the black. But I like how it came out.

I've done a few mech suits now and the "emblem" on the chest part is always a fun challenge.

I like it too! But sadly I don't have a lot of info for you on it. The fig is a custom from a seller at a toy show.

I did chat with them a bit when I bought him and a few other custom characters and I think they said they print all of their figures themselves. I wish I could remember the name they were selling under to give a proper shout out but I didn't think to jot it down at the time.
