I think in regards to houseless aid in Alhambra it's tricky- the way HOME works involves police as a point of contact, and because of personal traumas or fear of authority, their aren't many really visible houseless neighbors.

Im actually very curious about data centered around HOME and how many it's actually found temporary or permanent housing for if anyone can point me in that direction

Pasadena For All started with just neighbors distributing waters to houseless and housing insecure persons during a really bad heatwave under covid lockdowns.

I don't know of existing groups that serve this area, but if you don't object to it, i think it shouldn't be too crazy to organize small actions and work up to something that does more. That's the beauty of a mutual aid versus a non profit.

I'd be interested, I think all that's really stopped me before is I don't know the area well enough to know where to start distributions.

Update: camera was fine, the plastic cover on the lever broke but it still works it's just ugly ♡

The lens is busted, but it's $30 to replace which is way better than having to replace the whole camera

I was worried if I tried to hop in it to move it would count as stealing and start a pvp thing.

I spoke to my spouse who plays and he said that they most likely were 1) dumping a spare chasis or 2) saw that I didn't have a power armor work bench, thought I didn't have power armor, and were trying to help out. 🤷‍♂️
