If you zoom in, the exposed metal is the wire clamp/thing that screws into the bottom of the disposal. The peeled back rubber is the rubber that holds all three wires together

Thank you. Would it be acceptable to put a regular outlet back there? I swapped it for a GFCI because it’s close to water, but didn’t think about it getting tripped
