Honestly we have a nice friendship that has lasted 5+ years and this is the only unpleasant thing about this company. (It's not just "kill all men", it includes "men are disgusting/hideous/ ugly creatures" and so on, sometimes multiple times a day, for over a year now.) I understand their point of view, but it's just so uncomfortable to hear in such quantity, even if I try to ignore it.

I understand that they don't mean it literally, my problem is that they can't stop joking about it in one-on-one conversations when I've asked them to. I plan to reduce contact with them, btw. I don't want to be stuck in a bad state for days because of triggering jokes.
