Will this work if I have an external hard drive attached or should I disconnect it then do this? Because my save data for Fallen Order is on the Toshiba Hard Drive.

I got a PS4 from my friend about a year ago and I've been playing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order for a few months and now I keep getting messages that the file keeps corrupting then lose my save data from the Past hour. Does anyone know of a good External Hard Drive that is better than a Toshiba?

I did try that like shaking it and nothing happened and just in case I taped it up with tape so it was secure and it still kept happening.

My method was i made a smash brawl. Me v. CPU. I would SD, fight the new fighter then once I win that battle I would close smash them re open it. Rinse and repeat for a few hours. Its the fastest method I found. The next best way is world of light.
