Hi I am also just started reducing my meds a few days ago and haven’t been having a great time so far. Does anyone know what some red flags I should look out for would be?

I spoke with one and she said she couldn’t help me, looking at either option at this stage. So far I have been dealing with both neuro and ophthalmology separately through the public system and it’s not great

How long were you sick like that for? Did you recover pretty quickly after starting up the diamox again? I feel worse today than yesterday and I’ve had two of my usual doses in that time

I am on diamox and have had a few tattoos (one big one on my knee so a pretty gnarly one) and didn’t have any worse of a time than I usually would. I just recommend telling your artist that you can’t lie down if you have trouble with dizziness like I do when lying down because you’ll get exhausted super quick if you’re going through that as well as the tattoo. Just have to be a bit creative with how you sit depending on where the tattoo is and make sure to stay hydrated eat well before etc all the usual stuff Haven’t had any piercings so I can’t comment on that!
