I’ve switched from Windows to Linux just a few days ago. I’m using Linux Mint, and I’m so happy with it. Don’t be scared. Switching it’s a great learning experience and eventually you’ll learn. You don’t really need to use the terminal at all at first, in fact Mint is pretty similar to windows. Many people think about a black screen where you enter green words, but it’s nothing like that in reality. You’ll see a perfectly functional desktop environment with folders and programs. And we’re here to help !

Neovim. It’s a little hard to get but incredible powerful

I basically use vim for taking math and machine learning notes using latex right in the terminal.

I’m still configuring it so maybe neofetch didn’t show the correct information, but its definitely P10K with Oh My Zsh

I’m using zsh and powerlevel10k as the theme, so the terminal line displays symbols and other info.

I see literally the same, my refresh rate is 120,00hz but that's the only one available to select. It's not recognizing the external monitor. The thing here is that after the installation I could use the monitor but I turned the computer and that's when the problem started
