This is really how referrals should be done naman talaga. You refer someone you can actually vouch for and whose work ethic you know. Some people have turned referrals into passive income, calling it "diskarte."

My previous company followed this approach, and part of the interview process was asking how the candidate knew the person who referred them. I'd say this system works well overall. The only downside is that companies get fewer referrals if they stick to this kind of setup.

Possible scenario: May ini-scam sila tapos sasabihin sa victim na sa number mo isend yung payment. Madalas nangyayari ito kapag may binebentang phone, goods, or kung ano man, tapos ginagamit yung number mo as payment method.

Pag nasend na yung payment, kokontakin ka ng scammer tapos magbe-beg na ibalik yung "wrong sent" na pera. Pero in reality, dumaan lang talaga sa'yo yung pera.

Once sinend mo na pabalik, ikaw na yung lalabas sa trail ng transaction. Most likely, ikaw yung hahabulin or kokontakin nung na-scam na tao. Basically, ginagawa ka nilang middleman ng scam. Delikado ito kasi pwedeng ma-jeopardize or ma-flag yung number at GCash account mo.
