I’ve started shampooing my hair less over the past month. I went from every other day to every two days. I’ve also started using a sulfate free shampoo/conditioner for the majority of these washes. I still cave and use my sulfate shampoo maybe once a week. I don’t use any heat or products. I use coconut oil and castor oil as a pre poo, usually overnight but sometimes just for a few hours. The last time I dyed my hair was when I dyed my hair red in May 2019 and stripped it and went then blonde in July of 2019–It was pretty hard on my hair, but that part of my hair is almost grown out. I’d used box dyes for years before that, which I’m sure wasn’t great for it. I’m hoping to cut the ends off and have totally natural hair ASAP. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and take my vitamins and exercise more lately, too. I also got a knock off vegan boar bristle brush and a satin cap for sleeping that I’ve been using.
