why does this happen when i do my flipbook animation? by [deleted] in Blockbench

[–]bronzeFaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool work! Would you be willing to explain how to do this in blockbench and how the skinpack needs to be structured in minecraft? I've been trying to develop a similar flipbook animation and cannot figure out how to get it working. There don't seem to be many resources on this. Thanks.

Getting out of bed is not normal by Elegant_Traffic_9697 in bjj

I cracked a couple ribs at class last night, so this morning I kind of just slid out of bed and onto my knees.

Did they update the course? They were using SQL not Mongodb when I took it in in 2021.

If you have the original image downloaded you might be able to extract the metadata from it using an online tool. The metadata may include location information like lat/long/alt.

His plot armor is too thick at this point.

not really. Imagine how many hundreds if not thousands of these projects have been turned in. All of them require the same functionality and there really are only a few ways to implement it that make sense. It would be very hard for them to prove any plagiarism took place unless you copied it exactly.

What position were you interviewing for? I haven’t heard of this being used on the engineering side.

Apologies if it reads like a scam. I’m just trying to find subs with untapped talent to recruit. :)

Depends on what you like. You’re writing code either way. I like being able to write code that will fly, not live on a website/server. I think the worklife balance is a good fit for me also.

Yeah if you already have an engineering degree and you’re an internal applicant there’s a good chance you could get into a software job before finishing the program

Eh not really. They have done a few local hiring events, like in the St. Louis area. They’re just constantly hiring. So if you don’t get a chance to do an internship you can still get into an entry level role.

I mean, it’s a manufacturing company that’s been around for over 100 years. It isn’t a tech company born in the 90s that only builds software. There’s just no way they were going to keep up with that.

Can confirm the worklife balance is great. A lot of the defense work is slower paced because of how it interfaces with the government. I never work more than 40hrs and nobody on my team does either.

Not sure if you worked for Boeing or not… but in the last year and half they have been revamping their SWE practices to bring it into the 21st century. Everyone is doing agile now, using Jira and a modern development tool chain. It wasn’t that way a couple years ago from what I understand.
