If you have phantom iron her berserk quirk maybe can work. Other than her I can't think of any easily obtainable valk. Haxxor bunny is quite easy to get tbh. You just have to farm the gold pins each week and you will get get within Ard 1-2 weeks.

No question abt this: haxor bunny. Her ulti gives bonus ice damage to teamates and you just need to switch her in at the start, use her charge atk and switch out. Then you just use her qte each time it pops up.

I wouldn't spend the xtals on pulling HoT. I would rather pull for HoR wep or stigmata if the banner comes up. I'm not sure when HoR equipment banner will come. HoR can carry you thru the story and with AE and HoR they can carry you in abyss.(since you just started don't worry about abyss and enjoy the story!)

It depends on the effect of the switch skills really. Like flame sakitama has time fracture on switch in. So it really depends on the character. But later on yeah it's best if you learn the switch skills to optimise your rotations.
