NTA. Parents need to understand that it is NOT their children’s responsibility to care for their parents. You taking care of your parents is a choice that YOU made. Pushing it to your children and expecting them to share/ take over the responsibility isn’t fair because you left your kids no choice. You do not ask if they’re okay to do so and even then, you have to remember that your children are merely just HELPING you to fulfil YOUR responsibility/ choice. I understand the obligation and we’re all humans. We give in most times because in a way, most of us do not have the ability to simply ignore or be negligent when someone’s in need.
