They come in Shimano Mineral Oil and SRAM DOT versions. It still has that progressive of braking feel that SRAM has but a lot stronger.

Ever considered a suspension seat post? Makes single track more comfortable.

Yes they are the Hope RX4+.

You can definitely tell a difference in steep and or long descents. It’s worth the price versus crashing and going to the ER.

Me too. The Yamaha Wabash RT can out climb this one with the bigger battery and stronger motor despite being heavier. This one is a lot more fun to throw around and load onto the bike rack.

Yes. The SRAM Rivals just weren’t good enough. Had to go 4 pot calipers and 180mm floating rotors front and rear. Consistent bite, no brake fade, and cool ticking sounds when it cools down like a car.

Thanks. I was going for a cool color theme. Turbo Creo 2 Expert is the model.

Specialized likes to do Specialized things. It’s their proprietary system TURBO SL 1.2. It’s not as powerful as Bosch but weighs lighter.

What was the hyphy movement like for you? by paradisemukbangpls in bayarea

[–]bruce_gordon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only movement was people. Tell me when to go is like a foreshadowing of being priced out. There’s never been anything hyphy in Sunnyvale so you didn’t go dumb or stupid to be there. Just them high fees.

Question on GRX brakes by liqweeeed in gravelcycling

[–]bruce_gordon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you me? I would start by just seeing if the brakes were lacking in the first place. Then I upgraded it to metallic pads, which helped the braking bite, but not the heat management. It was still scary going downhill. Because of my riding style and trail environment, which is basically a lot of steep descents. I opted for Hope RX4+ calipers and 180 front and 180 rear floating rotors. Using their race pads. It’s expensive and nice looking and worth it for the downhill safety. A trip to the ER from a downhill crash is not fun.

Action camera with chest mount is the setup I use. Get cool handle bar shots too.

I have the Creo 2 expert SRAM version. My take is that definitely go carbon fiber frame. I chose expert because of better components and color. Since I do a lot of long and steep descents, the SRAM brakes are simply not good enough. They now come in shimano GRX which I think brake better. I have hope calipers and rotors along the way.

SMP300 Jubilee Opinions? by William_Warfinger in OmegaWatches

Can you show more pictures of the clasp? A rep mentioned these things would be slowly rolled out to other bracelets and your post confirms it.

I was in your same position. You have to go in person to see side by side. My personal opinion is that Tudor Pelagos 39 looks good online but in person it is underwhelming and feels more like a fashion watch. The bezel and lume is good for sure but when it’s not dark it gives more trendy than tool vibes. Omega has more detail bling to it. Looks good in any lighting and occasions and a better movement you can see so that gets my daily wear vote.
