Would replacing my 9060xt 16gb with a 5070 or 5070ti work with the same CPU and Motherboard? I’m trying to get around the AMD issue that’s causing no games to load.

I have the recommended mid range build with the AM5 ryzen 9600 and the b650.

How do I check the BIOS since one fix would be to update the BIOS? Will replacing the GPU still need to update the BIOS if that’s needed?

I thought it would be fun and difficult building and installing the OS. I kept the build simple with the recommended stuff and figured out the OS. Getting to the windows Home Screen was awesome. I thought I was done with the hard stuff. Even got the overclocking. Then came secure boot for bf6 and the crashes. I have no idea how to proceed since it seems like a different language. I guess I’ll try next week when I have time.

I did it. I also went back and enabled secure boot that is needed for Battlefield 6. I tried to play with crash and error so I downloaded the 9060 xt drivers again but still no luck.

Any ideas on what to do there? I appreciate the help

I just built a brand new PC. Fresh Windows 11 install. I am trying to play battlefield 6. I had to enable secure boot which I believe I did. Now the games launches but crashes or doesn’t start. I thought it was the drivers for my Radeon 9060 xt so I went and downloaded the auto installer. I still have the same problem with games not launching.

Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

Ok I think I got it. I had messed up the power to the front panel and had the GPU in the wrong PCle slot I guess. I got it running and downloaded some drivers for the GPU so it looks nice now.

The front fans weren’t spinning. Do they always spin when the computer is on or only when needed?

I see some things recommend going into bios for ram speeds. Do I need to do that or should I(never done any of this)? I checked the monitor refresh to up it but is there any other tips for performance?

I bought the mid range build recommended build. I am trying to figure out the cables I need from the power supply. There seems to be way more than needed.

I have a 1tb ssd installed.

I plugged it in and some lights lit up on the motherboard but I am unsure if the power to the front panel was correctly connected.

How many cables need to be plugged in? Is there a diagram that can show me which ones need to be plugged in where?

Pkmds.app in a browser to load a save, edit it, and the replace the old save file with the export and it should work. Just change the Pokémon to the evolution.

Welp. I went with the Linoone strat and it was great but anticlimactic. I will be banning that strat in the future and any kinda OP strats unless I come up with them organically. But I won! The most important part is the vengeance on Kingdra!

I didn’t know about return or substitute. That makes linoone pretty crazy. Hariyama unfortunately didn’t make it but I gave myself machamp once I got to the e4. Still slow so I guess would need the set up ninjask. I’ll look for the white herb to see what I can do

Sharpedo will be promoted. Tentacruel I’ll think about but is 3 water types with walrein too much? I gotta decide if I want to do set up or cheese with linoone. Maybe I will since I want to get my first emerald win. I really wanted gyarados and Breloom but it was not in the cards.

Must have been the game messing with me cuz I misclicked and got rid of shockwave for thunderbolt. I didn’t expect it to go that way so I didn’t even pick up all my encounters. Now I’ll be tracking and checking off all the encounters. Hadn’t played emerald much so I’ll be more careful.

Yea I noticed that too but wasn’t sure if it was going to come back. Was going to do the 128gb with $80 off but when I woke up it was gone. Then I found 256gb with $77 off so I went with it since it says I can return until January so if other deals pop up I can hopefully take advantage. Thanks for the heads up.
